DC Planting

Since 2010, DC Logistics Brasil has been carrying out Plantio DC, an ecological action that aims to plant a tree for each closed load throughout the month of June.

DC Planting was born from the proposal of social and environmental responsibility as a means of exercising ethics and citizenship. This environmental commitment is part of the company’s Strategic Planning, where we reaffirm our commitment to sustainability, thus ensuring that the advance in the present does not harm the future of generations, always respecting all forms of life and the environment.

This action has already resulted in 55.301 trees. Through this action we were able to capture 262.96 tons of CO2. This information was generated by the environmental advisory company, Rede Verde, Itajaí/SC.

DC Planting 2010

Plantio DC 2010 took place at a private site in Camboriú/SC.

2650 trees were planted.

DC Planting 2011

In 2011, Plantio DC took place at the APAE Site of Itajaí/SC.

2432 trees were planted.

Trees are an important part of every community. Our streets, parks and backyards are full of vegetation that creates a peaceful and aesthetically pleasing environment. We gather under the cool shade they provide, during outdoor activities with family and friends. Many neighbourhoods are also home to very old trees, which serve as historic landmarks and a great source of pride for cities.
