The port of Santos remains as the main container handling complex of Latin America. The 2014 ranking was released by the American publication The Journal of Commerce, specializing in maritime traffic.
According to the ranking “Top 50 Word Container Ports”, published by the American Journal on August 20, the Port of Santos is the 38th in world port container handlingwith the result of 3.68 million your (unit equivalent to a 20 feet container) achieved in 2014.
