Soy complex exports totaled US $ 26 billion until October

Soy complex exports registered between the months of January to October this year totaled US $ 26.030 billion, 14% lower than in the same period last year. The shipment volume of soybeans and derivatives reached a record 66.086 million tons , up 13 % over the first 10 months of 2014. The average price followed the fall in international prices and retreated 14% to US $ 394 per ton.

The data released on the afternoon of Tuesday (3/11 ) by the Ministry of Development, Industry and Trade ( MDIC) show that exports of soybeans this year reached a record volume of 52.150 million tons, 15% higher than shipped in the first ten months of last year . Revenue fell 13 % to US $ 20.151 billion , down by 24% drop in the average price ( to US $ 386 per ton ) .

In the case of bran, the volume shipped from January to October this year increased by 7 % and amounted to 12.675 million tons, while the Revenue fell 18 % to US $ 4.999 billion , compared to the same period last year . The average meal price dropped 23% ( to $ 395 per ton ) .

Since the soybean oil exports this year grew 26% to 1.279 million tons, which ensured a 1% increase in revenue ( to US $ 880 million ) , compared to a 20% drop in the average price ( to $ 688 tonne).
