All senders and recipients are obligated to safeguard and maintain shipment export or import documents in good order under the terms established by art. 70 of Federal Law No. 10.833, of December 29, 2003.

Taxation schemes applicable to shipments

International shipments are subject to regulation by Brazilian authorities. Each country of origin may impose specific requirements. DC Logistics Brazil is prepared to offer guidance and take the necessary steps at all times.

Brazil’s Simplified Taxation Regime (RTS) will apply to shipments with a total value of up to USD 3,000.00. The following taxes are levied under this automated taxation system:
1. Import Tax (II) – 60% on the value of customs fees (goods + freight + insurance).
2. ICMS (interstate tax on the circulation of goods and services) – according to established rate in state of destination.
Once a shipment is cleared by customs, it will be delivered to the recipient.

Personal Submissions

Not intended for resale: Books, Documents, Gifts, Samples, Unaccompanied Baggage, merchandise and purchases made on e-commerce platforms with a total value of up to US$ 3,000 intended for personal use.
No established foreign exchange coverage or shipping limit per year.

Commercial Shipping

With or without foreign exchange coverage.
No established yearly import limits whenever shipment is not designated for resale.
Total amount per CNPJ (company tax ID) of up to US$ 150,000 per year.
